Personal Limits
To help you stay in control, RocketPlay offers a Personal Limits feature. You can set limits on how much you deposit, lose or wager, as well as on your account activity overall. You will find these tools inside your account, in the ‘Personal Limits’ section.
- Deposit limit — a cap on your deposits per day, week or month
- Loss limit — a cap on your losses per day, week or month. The loss is based on your initial deposit, not on winnings. For example, if you deposit 50 AUD and set a loss limit of 10 AUD, then go on to win 1,000 AUD, you could still lose more than 10 AUD from that 1,000 AUD balance, because the limit applies to your deposit rather than your winnings
- Wager limit — a cap on the total amount you wager per day, week or month
You can change a limit at any time. A decrease takes effect immediately, while an increase applies only after you confirm it by email and only once your previous limit of the same type has expired — a deliberate delay that helps you avoid rash decisions. If you need any help with Personal Limits, contact our support team at [email protected].
Cooling-Off and Self-Exclusion
Taking a break is a healthy, normal choice, and two tools make it easy.
Cooling-off. You can set a cooling-off period of 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months or 6 months. During this time you cannot make deposits or receive promotional offers, but you can still log in, withdraw any remaining funds, and end the cooling-off period early if you confirm that decision.
Self-exclusion (in your account). You can set a self-exclusion for a fixed period. Your account is disabled straight away, you are removed from all promotions, and you cannot deposit or withdraw while it is active. When the period ends, your account is reactivated automatically.
Self-Exclusion by Request
If you prefer, you can ask our support team to arrange this for you. Email [email protected] and let us know you wish to stop gambling at RocketPlay for a fixed period of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, or indefinitely. We will take all reasonable measures to block access to your account and to make sure you receive no promotional materials. For an indefinite self-exclusion, any funds remaining on your balance are paid out in line with the casino limits; for a fixed period, the remaining funds are paid out, in line with those limits, once the self-exclusion period has expired.
Self-Assessment: Checking in on Your Gambling
If you would like to check in on your own gambling, the questions below can help you notice early warning signs. There is no judgement here — just answer honestly:
- Have you ever felt you should cut down on your gambling?
- Have people ever annoyed you by criticising your gambling habits?
- Have you ever felt guilty about your gambling?
- Have you ever had a morning “eye-opener” to steady your nerves or recover from gambling losses?
- Have you ever gambled to get money to pay debts?
- Has your gambling made you careless about the welfare of yourself or your family?
- Have you ever borrowed money or sold anything to gamble?
- Has your gambling ever caused you any health problems?
What your answers may mean. If you answered “no” to every question, your gambling appears healthy and under control. If you answered “yes” to even one, it may help to reach out to our support team for further assistance. The GamCare and Gamblers Anonymous self-tests are a good further option if you would like to explore this in more depth.

Protection of Minors
RocketPlay accepts players who are at least 18 years old, and we use every available method to prevent minors from registering or playing. We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity, and if a player has not reached the legal age, access is denied immediately.
Because of how widely the internet is used, we also encourage parents and guardians to help protect children from gambling websites. Filtering and parental-control software can assist with this. Tools that are commonly used include CyberPatrol, GamBlock, Solid Oak Software and Net Nanny.
Bet Blocker
If you, or someone you know, is finding online betting or gambling hard to manage, a bet blocker can be a helpful step toward regaining control. These tools limit or restrict access to gambling websites and apps, adding an extra layer of protection and support. A widely used option is BetBlocker (betblocker.org), which is free to use.
Contact and Account Tools
Whenever you want to take action, it only takes a moment. Set your deposit, loss and wager limits, or a cooling-off period, in the ‘Personal Limits’ section of your account. Reach our support team any time at [email protected] or through 24/7 live chat. And if you need to talk to someone now, call the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858 — free, confidential and available around the clock.
